for Strategic Restructuring
Description
Is your board tiptoeing around topics like merger, alliance or co-location
with another organization? How do you know if it will be a good decision
or a bad one? This workshop is designed for board members and executive
directors who know they need to consider new options, but aren't entirely
sure where to begin, and who would like to establish appropriate criteria
for deciding which path to take. Taught by Peter Drury & Amy Zimerman,
two seasoned nonprofit leaders with business and finance savvy who
have experience in successfully merging - and successfully not merging
- organizations.

Description

difficult to articulate fundraising strategies – and evaluation – in
the language of Finance and Accounting? Now more than ever, healthy Fundraising-Finance
relationships are essential. Healthy cash flow is a shared priority.
This workshop will give Development professionals the tools to understand
and communicate with their counterparts in Finance, as well as a framework
for establishing strategic goals, in a shared language, for sustainable
cash flow.
