the nonprofit and finance arenas, she
is equally comfortable inspiring possibility and running
the numbers! Her expertise lies at the intersection of strategic planning, financial
operations, and marketing.
Amy’s nonprofit experience includes leadership
roles as an executive director, finance and operations manager, and
grants and contract manager. Her positions span
the fields of children’s services, early learning, and the environment
as well as grantmaking and start-ups. She is a dynamic professional
with proven strengths in business development, organizational needs
assessment, relationship management, and program creation.
Prior to this, Amy worked as an investment banker for seven years, living
in New York, London, Madrid, and Johannesburg. She advised CEOs and
CFOs on the strategic and financing alternatives available to their
companies. She credits her Wall Street experience for
her persistent
professionalism and emphasis on risk management.
Amy is an active community volunteer, serving on
boards and advisory committees, and
pinch hits when organizations need last-minute help with special
events. She fulfills her passion for financial literacy as faculty
